Julien Allanic leaves, Julien Divisa is back

20 years of rehearsals, recordings, decibels, sweat, miles, gas station sandwiches, smiles, hand shakes, headbangings, too long after shows, too short nights, goodbies in French, English, German, Deutsch, Japanese…
20 years after, tiredness and a sort of wear took over. Energy is the most important component of We Insist’s music.
We insist but we don’t cheat, so the bushbash show in Tokyo was my last one.
I’d like to thank every musician who have played in the band, Eric and Etienne specially, for the last years of touring. Aude, Adèle and Coline for all those nights without daddy « who’s gone play his rnr with his folks again ». And everyone who helped the band (sometimes in very difficult conditions), fans, record companies, booking agencies, other bands, sound and light engineers, recording studios, venues, rock critics, associations, festivals, photographers, graphic designers, everyone who buy or sell cds, all those who put us up…
Of course, We Insist goes on and Julien Divisia (who left the band after Babel…) is back, and there’s something afoot.
My We Insist years remain among the most important and one million of images will go with this beautiful story of friendship.
